at her marvelling beauty,
her astonishing bounty,
of killer class and elegance,
a pillar of satisfaction and perfection.
Her eyes twinkle with intention,
to prey,
and to pray,
for the blessings of an angel amongst us.
So I sit and stare,
as she stands atop the staircase,
its a stare-case.
My glare,
deeply diverse,
directly upon her jugular lace,
laced with diamond ice,
I see,
the purity and maturity before me.
An angel amongst us.
So I sit and stare,
as she elegantly cascades the concrete case,
her body swaying in the rhythm,
of her consciously calculated steps.
The room feels her presence,
her presence fills the room.
Blowing bliss in blows.
Her hands tentatively stretched into a paw,
like a lioness.
She ain't the kind to rely on us,
miss independent.
She makes me realise that their those of us,
who dwell amongst angels,
angels amongst us.
Her hair falls atop her shoulders,
setting men to drool like toddlers.
Shattering our egoistic characters to boulders,
casting shyness to even the bold ones.
Then,
she storms onto her feet,
the DJ is playing her set,
so she is set,
to hit the dance floor in intent.
A work of art,
her hips dance to the beat,
my heart kips a beat,
hoping at least,
I'd just have a bit,
to say hey.
To this heavenly creature.
This angel amongst us indeed.
Suddenly,
the bastard intrudes,
in a manner so rude,
to invade the world he claims he rules.
He arrogantly snatches her arm,
so I stand up in arms,
to defend,
this angel amongst us.
Her eyes twist in guilt,
his anger evidently built.
So I pull back,
to my seat,
just to sit and stare.
To watch,
a couple so different,
settle their differences,
in the full glare of the public.
Washing their dirty linen I'd say.
He hurls all manner of insult,
constantly slapping her across her face.
Only adding salt,
to injury I hear.
He dexterously drags her across the dance floor,
pulling her towards the exit door.
She screams in agony and pain,
as he pushes her into the falling rain.
I run to her rescue,
but stop in my senses,
my heart tense,
worried for this angel,
who seems not to know her worth.
He carelessly wraps her into the car,
but just before,
her eyes clash mine.
She's sees the pity in me,
I see the suffering in hers.
This marriage was a life sentence for her,
sentencing an angels into the realms of hell.
Sigh,
if only he knew,
that she was an angel amongst us,
he'd treat her better.
If only she knew,
she was an angel amongst us.
She wouldn't settle for less.
Are you an angel amongst us?
Don't stick in there if he ain't treating u right, dear angels.
u treat me as one!
